I was just about to blog that Panic At The Disco will be coming to the Philippines for a concert at the Araneta Coliseum on the 14th of August when Kat beat me to it on her Multiply blog. Something to look forward to, but since it’s slated three months from now, I have this feeling that I will no longer be in Manila by then.

The concert is most likely for the promotion of their sophomore album “Pretty Odd” released only this March (stream it here). The date for the concert is already confirmed as can be found on PATD’s MySpace where Manila is one of the cities included in their Asian Tour.

Speaking of international acts in the metro, here’s another concert that I’d most likely get to watch, Thursday! The guys of PULP Magazine are at it again. After bringing Shadows Fall last March (which I failed to see), the post-hardcore band behind the songs “Understanding in a Car Crash” and “Signals Over the Air” will be performing at A-Venue in Makati once again. The ticket is priced at P1K, so no reason to not be there. Can’t wait to see and hear them perform “Signals” which is “the” song from the band for me.
