Bolbe Ya Yo!

Finally going home. My 10-day vacation leave was just approved, and after learning the news via an Outlook email from our OIC, I went online and sent a message to the reservations department of Air Philippines to finally book my ticket. But because the approval came at a later date, much later than the reservation deadline that it expired, I was haggling with the reservations specialist on the phone. I asked her to rebook the flight, but she said that it's no longer available; my reservation was P500 cheaper than what she was offering. I said that I'd reach her back, after I check the websites of Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines if they have better promos, but both were far more expensive. So I tried making another reservation with Air Philippines on the internet and was hoping that, with Divine Intervention, the request would push through even though their CSR already said loud and clear that it was no longer available.

Lo and behold! There on my Yahoo! inbox was an email for the same flight itinerary and the same price too. Tsk, tsk. That CSR flunked big time on CSAT. He-he. I called back and asked to book the plane ticket, but Air Philippines do not have the online payment option just yet, that I have to personally drop by their office (the nearest from PS is at Greenbelt 1) and purchase it from there. Ooh, and I’m given till noon tomorrow to do that. How’s that for reservations!

Bolbe ya yo is Chavacano for "I'm going home."
