Impulse: The Year-End Party That Was

I was supposed to write about our company's year-end party last Saturday, just after waking up from an evening-till-the-wee-hours-of-the-morning of partying (me partying? LOL). I was planning to do a blow-by-blow account of that (and it's gonna be long) but somehow I just never got around to doing it. I simply didn't have the luxury of time. Now after transcribing almost an hour's worth of video files, I finally was able to steal away some minutes to blog about the year-end party that was Impulse. As to why I'm at work when supposedly it is my rest day, I'll save that for another blog entry.

I won't provide that many details to what transpired that night as, like I said, I don't have the time really. I'll try to wrap this up in a few minutes or so. The gist of this blog is the superb time I had with friends from the office. Food (although it sucks!), drinks, and performances from the country's foremost bands--Up Dharma Down, Bamboo, Parokya ni Edgar, and Kamikazee--were what welcomed us that evening and what made us stay awake till the wee hours of the morning. And of course, Impulse wouldn't have been complete if your colleagues weren't there, and that really what capped the evening for me. And I know the pictures taken during that night will speak for themselves (here and here). Till the next company year-end party? Nah. I think I'm with a different company by then.
